Odies home

This last weekend we started a new project - Odies home.  Our last tortoise got eaten by the dogs.  It was a sad sad day.  My mom came across another tortoise and gave Daniel one for his birthday.  Now that we can't trust the dogs we are having to build a home for the new one.  We named it Odie - I suspect its a female since the bottom of its shell is flat.  Time will tell us.

Right here Chris is sanding down the posts so we can stain them before building it.

Daniels 4th Birthday Party!

We recently celebrated Daniels 4th Birthday.  He had lots of people show and lots of gifts.  Because of the site and probably due the size of the pictures I am not able to post all of them.  Here is the pre-show that Chris and Daniel had.

Brookes first time down was interesting - I think her face says everything.

                                             

                                             Red Velvet Cupcakes is what I baked - I have to say I wasn't happy about how they turned out.  Some turned out dry and some came out ok.  But being a cake decorator myself - I was probably making a fuss over nothing.

Daniel started Tball!

So Daniel started Tball.  Its really fun to watch all of the kids play.  Practice is pretty basic.  All the kids take turns batting and runnin the bases.  All the other kids stand out in the field and either stand there or retreive the ball.

                                                         

               Daniel is one of them that stands there.  He loss interest after about 10 minutes.  But now that we are playing games, I think he is getting the hang of it and is enjoying it more.

I took some pictures I found that Brooke is one tough cookie to take pictures of.  She doesnt really smile..instead at the time that I took the pictures she found her nose.  She constantly was picking it!!  I happened to get one on photo.  Its a classic!

Update on the kiddos

I wanted to post more pictures but for some reason my computer is not letting me do so.

Here is an update on my babies!  Daniel will be four in less than a month and I am not sure how I feel about that.  Brooke just turned 18 months old and is sassy!  She does not put up with the boys.  I knew eventually that would come back to haunt them!

Updates!!

Last weekend I did a photoshoot of my kids. We went to a place off of Pecos south of our house. There was a cornfield I got some shots of the kids and next to that was a field of alfalfa. I got some great shots of both the kids. I think the best thing about this location was there was an abondonded wagon was real antique like that I got some photos of us and the kids together.
