Here is Brooke at the park - I wanted some practice with my new camera and the flash that I have.  So weird to look back at her before we cut her hair.

Her face was so dirty...she looks like an AJ baby
Here is one of the first days without kids.  Day was pretty relaxing and calm.

Trying to turn on the water - she is such a water baby

Wanting me to draw some more with the chaulk

Here we are getting ready to start painting the bird house that Daniel and Chris built

Got his pockets full of paint

Then Brody was in town and Daniel ditched the whole painting idea for Brody (far right).

Daniel Graduates!!

This is Daniels preschool graduation.  As you can tell he looks amused.  When he gets in front of a crowd of people he gets this look on his face... not sure where he got it from...

Fun in the hose

The other night Bren came over to visit the kids. They wanted to play in the hose and had loads of fun!

This is all she did was drink the water

 And then this happens...

 Dramatic shall we say?

Marking our Territory II

Yesterday Chris came home and started working on the yard.  He wanted to hurry up and finish what he started before the sun set.

He put a beer can on the steak so that no one would fall on it and get seriously injured.  For some reason my camera would not focus on it...out of the 5 pix I took they all came out blurry.

The finished product.  Looks great!!

Marking our territory

Yesterday Chris started separating our yard from the neighbors.  The surrounding neighbors of ours have the same color rock making it look like 3 yards on one lot and it does not help that even those surrounding yards have the same color rock.  Its something he has always wanted to do and we had some left over brick from our backyard - so yesterday he started it.  He got half way through - so tonight we will have the finished results.

Measuring it out.

This is the beginning of another project.  We found these whiskey barrels down at Home Depot for 30 bucks. So we got 3.  One Chris drilled a hole in the bottom of it and ran water lines so we don't have to water the plants/flowers all the time.

Here he marked another spot for a plant.  As he was running the lines for the pot he found a dripper that had no plant, so Chris placed a bucket in the ground to mark his spot for the new plant we choose.

Stay tuned!
