Today Chris and I found out that we will be having a baby girl. Her name will be Brooklyn Renae Shade. I go in again for another ultrasound in two weeks since the ultrasound tech couldnt get a good reading on her heart. She said it wasnt anything to worry about but since she was in a bad position it was making it hard for her to get readings of her heart. Then today on our way the doc we found out that we for sure got the house and we are still on to sign docs on Friday. We then will be moving Wed the 16th. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a little update

Hello everyone! Sorry I have been really lousy lately with the updates. Things have been super crazy with the move and the closing of our new home. Chris and I are scrambeling to get things just set for the mortgage company in the last final weeks. We are set to sign docs on 9/11/09 and we take possession of the home 9/16/09. Times a ticking. Then today I am 17 weeks into my pregnancy. Things are really starting to show. We find out 9/9 what we are having. I think everyone is rootin for a girl but seriously a healthy baby is all I care about. We celebrated Daniels 2nd birthday last weekend. It went great. Lots of people were there. Its just a shame I can't open up the two big packages he got because we will be moving anyway. Daniel has been doing great with the potty training. We started him about two months ago and we have the peeing down, but as for the pooping no so much. He will no longer go on a potty chair so I went and got a mini toilet seat hoping that will help solve the problem. Sorry I have no pictures to upload. I will upload some as soon as I can!

Hello everyone! I haven't been updating like I want. My camera has been in the shop and I don't have good access to internet. Here are pictures of our new home that we are set to move in 9/16. For some reason the computer is loading the pictures turned the wrong way.

13 weeks

This is me at 13 weeks. We find out in 5 short weeks what we are having.

Daniels 1st trip to the ER

Well today was Daniels 1st trip the ER. We almost made it to the 2 yr mark. This morning after we went pee pee on the big boy potty I expected him to flush the toilet and come out of the bathroom. Well since I was at my parents using the computer to do some stuff, I was close by. Lately he has been climbing on the toilet onto the bathroom counter...I always catch him doing it but this time I was literally gone for 2 minutes and I saw something fly into the closet and knew something was up. By the time I had made it into the bathroom he started crying. I did the whole, "thats why we don't climb on to the counters" speal. I tried to brush it off but after an hour and half he was still upset. I thought maybe it was being at my parents. So I headed back home and he still was crying and didn't want his drink or any food. I called my mom and talked to her about it because she was there when he had fallen. She told me to call my dad since he is a firefighter. I didn't get any answer so I called his doc and spoke to his assistant. She could hear how upset he was and suggested I take him in. I immediately started crying cause I felt bad that I ignore it at first and it probably didn't help that I am pregnant.

The hospital got us in right away and took an x-ray of his right hand since he was complaining that it hurt. Then a cat scan followed quickly after. Waiting for the results was the worse part cause it took over an hour! Everything came back okay.

Our trip to Canyon Lake

Last night Chris and I decided to drive up to Canyon Lake for the evening. It was surprisingly nice up there. There wasn't too much traffic and it was really cool - much cooler then it was in the valley. We hung out there for a little over an hour. It was Daniels first real time being around the lake. He wasn't too sure about it at first but once I went into the lake knee deep he was quick to follow. These pictures are out of order but you can still see we had a good time for the little of time that we were there.
