Daniel at 6 months

On Thursday the 29th Brooke will be 6 months old. I thought this time I would post pictures of Daniel when he was 6 months old. By the time Daniel was 6 months old he was eating solids, sitting up and very active. Brooke is yet to sit up, although she is very close! And she has no interest in solids. She is however active in own little girl way. Boys are naturally more rowdy and are eager to try things sooner than girls.

Here is Daniel with one of his first bitter biscuits. He loved these things! I learned later it was just easier to have them nude and to take them straight to the tub after these.

They are extremely messy and not easy to clean up with a wet cloth.

What he loved to do best was watch mommy get ready for the day with all his toys.

This was one of my favorite outfits for him. It was his wildlife outfit. When we would go visit grandma at work he would usually wear this.

This was one of his first shots sitting by himself. You can always tell when a baby is new at sitting up because they aren't perfect at it just yet.

So Daniel took my camera and decided to take some photos for himself. He took alot but I posted the better ones on here. The other ones contained fingers in them. Some of pictures have some good texture! I find them as good canidates to edit and make a cool pic out of.

This is of his broke toe nail he lost a month ago from a refried bean can that fell on it.

We have grass!

So as you all know we have been doing some stuff around the house...well not really we but Chris has. This morning he finished putting in the grass. It looks great! I am so excited to see what its gonna look like once the rock and plants are in!

While Chris was rotor tillin the planters we had a beautiful sunset I could not pass up!

Then while my father in law was putting up another light he snapped a few pix of another sunset we had.

Screens!

Monday Chris and I got screens put on the house. Since our house sits back facing North West we needed screens bad on the back part of our house. Daniels room and our living room got hot. Getting the whole house done was def worth the money. I noticed a difference immediately coming home to it. Since we don't have a sliding door and just a normal door with a window everyday around 3 the sun would just warm up the kitchen. I can not tell you how much this has made a difference in the house.

Since the guy mis-measured a few of the windows our house looked kind of goofy for a couple of days. He came back this morning (Wednesday) to install the missing screens and the house looks so complete and homie (spelling?) to me.

The planters are in!

As some of you know Chris has been working hard to get back yard in for us. He picked the perfect time of the year to do this too....

He took a 3 week break from it all. Last night he finished the planters portion. Next will be grass. The grass is going in the back part of the yard.

Just messin around

One day I was just killing time. I decided to edit some pictures that I have that I felt were good ones to play with. Some I added some stuff to and some I did a lot too.
