8 weeks and countin

Eating cookies and milk

Yesterday I reached my 8 wk mark in my pregnancy. I have been tired and recently I have been extremely fatigue. I still have not thrown up but I have been queasy but not nauseated. I didn't get sick with Dan - just nauseous and lots of headaches with him. Next Wednesday, July 1st, we hear the heart beat for the first time. I am starting to show a bit all ready. I can see it, not sure if anyone else can. My clothes are definitely fitting differently.

Hanging out side enjoying Junes cool nights

Junes evenings have been unusually nice. Last night we hung out the majority of the night. Chris decided to trim the nieghbors yard since they are moving Wed anyway. I also got some shots of Dan pushing around his John Deer tractor and playing with the dogs. I also got some shots of the plants that bloomed in our yard and shots of beautiful clouds last night. Daniel loves nothing more then to play outside.

Daniel and Momma doing their makeup

This morning while I was getting ready to go get Caleb Daniel was doing his usual, playing with my makeup. This time while I was doing my mascara he decided to take one of my older mascaras and put it on him self. It was pretty comical!

Telling the family about #2

Tuesday I told my family that I am pregnant. It had only been about 20 minutes prior that I actually found out. They didn't know what I was even talking about when I showed up with a HPT - "hello, do I do this often" is what I thought? After I explained to them what it was they quickly said congrats.

Yesterday, I sent my blog to everyone and of course everyone quickly responded to it. Then last night we went to Olive Garden for Chris's grandmothers birthday and he told everyone that, "Dotti is having a baby" - gee thanks! "Glad this was a team effort," is what I said. Geez... Oh well. I guess he panicked and that's the way it came out. Everyone is extremely happy and excited. Everyone also seemed surprised for some reason. So glad that that's over with! I always sweat the small stuff.

Loves corn on the cob. I cut the corn off of the cob so it would be easier for him to eat but he refused to eat it that way.

Baby #2

This morning I found out that the Shade house will be welcoming our second edition to the family. I am due Febuary 1st, 2010. Our babies will be about 2 and half years apart. My first doctors appointment is July 1st at 3:00pm. We will get to hear our baby's heart beat for the first time. I am wishing for a girl but of course a healthy baby is the most important thing.

From the Beginning

Chris and I got married June 29, 2007. We didn't do the lavish wedding like we both wanted. We were looking more for being legal and joining our lives. We both intend on doing our wedding later on down the road. Two months after we got married, August 28, 2007 Daniel Ray Shade was born at Mesa Banner. He weighed a whopping 10lbs and was delivered via C-section. He was 20.5 inches long and was beautiful. I could not have imagined him being anymore perfect! Today he is 21 months. Where has the time gone?! Everyday he is getting bigger, smarter and more beautiful! He is my little man.
